with Kevin Bigger and Giulia Pline

$850 until May 15 ($950 thereafter)
There is a sticky spot between finishing a training (or multiple trainings!) – and actually jumping into teaching. So much information to process. So many questions left unanswered. So many insecurities left to hash through. So hard to become a teacher without community support! Graduates of our foundational and advanced training programs have long asked for a mentorship program with a Kula twist. We are finally delivering!
Our goal with this program is to help students integrate the principles of Kula sequencing, while finding the special sauce that makes them a unique teacher.
We will gather to practice, workshop and share. In between group meetings you will commit to practicing a minimum of 4 days per week (virtually or in person), complete homework assignments, and work on you own teaching with feedback from your fellow mentees and mentors.
Subjects covered will include alignment, sequencing methodology, pranayama, vocal habits, the business of teaching yoga, hands on assists and more. You will assist 4 Kula classes in either SoHo or Williamsburg, and in the last week of the program you will also receive an hour long one on one session with the mentor of your choice.
Essentially you will both be working on your teaching skills and continuing to fill your cup with inspiration and challenging practice. Kula style.
(This program is open to graduates of Kula’s 200 hour Foundations or 75 hour advanced training. If you wish to apply for an exception, contact Nikki).
Program includes:
8 Group Meetings
50% off unlimited in-person classes for the length of the mentorship***
1 hour long private Q&A / feedback session with your mentor of choice
***when you register for the first session, your emailed receipt will contain a link to a pass for a 3 month in person unlimited for $250 (50% off the ‘regular’ price)
