Iyengar Vinyasa—This flow practice builds stamina, develops quickness and agility and sharpens mental attention. These dynamic and rhythmic sequences include ‘jumpings’ and skillful transitions to cultivate strength and lightness in the whole body.
The Curative Practice—Learn how to practice poses safely and effectively in a series of classes designed for therapeutic benefits. This class will support students of all levels with minor ailments or injuries. Teachers will learn how to modify poses for their students, including the use of props. Each class will be designed to treat a specific area of the body such as:
Back Care; Women’s Care; Digestive Care; Feet, Knees and Hips; Hands, Arms and Shoulders; Shoulders and Neck.
Prior to the first class, each registered student will be asked to fill out a Google survey to assess your individual needs and questions.
The Teachers Practice—Nikki has created and taught her signature class for over 10 years. She will lead you through an inquiry into all the nuanced aspects of yoga practice. The class will include asana, pranayama and meditation, woven together with yoga philosophy. Dedicated students and teachers from all traditions are welcome. Teachers are encouraged to spread the word and extend an invitation to your peers and colleagues. This class is a unique opportunity to come together in a vibrant community that will educate, challenge and progress your studentship and enhance your teaching skills.
Restorative + Pranayama—A simple and accessible pranayama practice for relaxation, inward reflection and meditation. (All Levels).
The Enrichment Practice: Cultivating Your Self Study— This 50 + hour program will provide a solid foundation for an inspired home practice. One of the most important aspects of self-study is learning how to assess your needs and structure your time and practice for the most beneficial outcomes. This includes an in-depth inquiry into the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being.
During times of uncertainty a yoga student chooses to engage more deeply by imbibing qualities of flexibility and determination, gentleness and rigor as well as creativity and stability in daily practice. The entire fall program will support students and teachers to develop their own asana sequences, create inspiring content and embody yogic philosophy.
The Enrichment Practice is: a continuing education program for dedicated students and teachers of yoga; an inclusive learning space fostering dialogue and community; an opportunity to engage with renowned teachers; and a practical and philosophical approach towards self-development.
All access for classes October 7—December 16 (one week will be designated for make-up classes in the event of scheduling changes).
